munity Hall, with Mrs. Florence

Coleman reading the correspond-
ence and Mrs. Elizabeth William-
son as hostess. |

members gathered at the home
of Mrs. Myles McPherson to
honor Mrs. ‘W. Goresky, a for-
mer Girl Guide’ captain and
bride of recent months.
Mrs. V. Goresky was in charge
of the evening’s entertainment.
There were contests and games
for’ all, with the guest of honor
receiving a variety of gifts,

Rosalyne Williams

Some dozen young guests as-
sembled at the J. A. Williams
home Saturday afternoon when
Mrs. Williams entertained in
honor of the eleventh birthday
of her daughter, Rosalyne.

There was a variety of games
for all, following which the
guests seated themselves at a
brightly decorated table, centred
with a plate of onamented muf-
fins, each topped with a lighted
candle and containing a fortune

|piece. Adding to the gaiety were
baskets of candy at each place.

The guests topped off -their
afternoon. with a movie.
