Members were reminded that they must have their names in by tomor- row if they wish to attend the party, as: no names will be accepted after that date. The afternoon was turned | over to Mrs. J. Lipsett, con- vener of the entertainment committee, who introduced Miss Katherine Barbin and Craig Webber as the after- noon's entertainers, The first selection by these young people Statistics for Nov. 12 game, lazer Creston and Spokane, was piano and violin duet with played on the weekend: Friday: Midget Reps played Cranbrook and won 6 to 5. Saturday: Midget Reps lost to Cranbrook 5 to 1. Bantam Reps played Spo- kane and won 5 to 2, Pee Wee As played Nelson and won 5 to 3 The Pee Wee Bs went to Beaver Valley and lost 7 to 4. Pup All-Stars hosted Grand Forks Pup Reps and won 7 to 4. Sunday: Bantam Reps played Cranbrook and lost 5 to 2, Sr. Citizens Christmas. Party Deadline Near rine on the violin, Craig played several selections on his guitar and sang several selections. The program included a sing-song for the seniors of many of the old songs, other duets, a delightful hymn sung and a beautiful rendition by Craig of a modern version of one of the psalms, The program was brought to a‘close with a selection by the young people. On behalf of the senior citizen members, Mrs. H. John- son extended thanks and appre- ciation to the entertainers for such a delightful afternoon, and wished them every success in their future undertakings. She expressed the hope that in the very near future, they would come again to entertain the seniors. The serving of refresh- ments brought a pleasant after- noon to a close.
