Mrs. E, Nickerson then con- ducted the Devotional period, the theme being “Make it plain Fath- er” — a story pertaining to Lent. This story was read by Mrs. Nickerson, and Mrs. C. S. Squl- res; Mrs. J. Porter; and Mrs, G. Miller read verses from’ the Scrip- ture This period was brought to a close with the singing of a hymn and the Lord’s Prayer.
