FAMILY DAY CARE TRA

Selkirk College will be offering a Panty Day Care Certificate program on the Trail
and Nelson campuses March 22, 199.

Instructor

The program will consist of 120 classroom hours, 15 hours of directed observation in
family day care settings and 15 hours of electives (workshops, conferences, etc.)

In Trail, courses will be offered Monday and Wednesday evenings and six full Satur
days between March 22 and June 23. In Nelson, courses will be offered each Tuesday
evening and five full Saturdays between March 23 - June 8 and September 14-Novem
ber 30.

Tuition fee is $108.

An ESL instructor is required to instruct 12 participants in English classes. These
students require English training in order to access the job market. As welll as instructing
English, the applicant will be required to provide life and employment readiness skills. The
applicant will be required to coordinate the six month program which will also include
Career Planning, Computer Skills-and Entrepreneurial Skills taught by other individuals.

This is « full-time position commencing as soon as possible. Salary and benefits are in
