Strong Rehabilitation Centre Helps to Make Lives Whole Again By | Harriet Christie s Roporter For Mitiage of Slocan It takes sympathetic, de- dicated men and women with stamina and skills to take wrecked lives and make them whole again. That’s the spirit that pervails at the G. Strong Rehabilitation Centre in. Vancouver, one of the loveliest cities in Canada. This wonderful medical centre is standing on W. 27th Ave. and is-a one storey mo- dern building that covers a large area. It is built around a central patio space where flowers and shrubs are grow- ing. It contains a huge re- creation room and dining area for in-patients, The halls are wide to secommodate wheel chairs and off the halls are many rooms used by doctors on the staff and Patients” rooms which are nicely furnished. There is a homelike atmos- here about the whole place, including the ‘administrator's office and the medical direc- tor’s ‘office and doctors and|also their secretaries ure very friendly.
