A project involv- ing the placement of five miles of cable throughout the former Town of Kinnaird will. cost $100,000 and an additional $30,000 will be spent to place almost five miles of telephone cable, much of it underground, between Castlegar, the Bril- liant Dam site and Thrums. In addition to these major projects, B.C. Tel has allocated more than $95,000 for the purchase and. installation of subscriber telephones in the Castlegar exchange.
