‘ Castlegar News 1989 Review, April 16, 1989 We floor the West Kootenay It will be two years in May since West Kootenay Car- pets opened their doors at their 6th Avenue location; and Brian Millar and Bill Johnson have hardly achance to catch their breath since. “Busy is an understatement,” says Millar. “We' ve been rushed off our feet ever since we first opened,”’ installing miles of carpeting and flooring in-homes and businesses throughout the West Kootenay and Boundary country. The mobile carpet van was an idea which really caught on. They go right to people’s homes with carpet samples and ideas and can give customers very accurate and reasonable estimates right in their own home. The service saves people a lot of time and travel and we know exactly how much work is involved when go to homes: Giving estimates that way eliminates the ‘ “surprises” for everyone. This in-home service is one of the tittle things we do to make our company successfull, but fully guaran- teed, professional installations is the key to repeat business and lots of good ‘word of mouth’ recommendations. ~ The price is also important. Their quality, name-brand carpets and flooring t are very competitively priced even com- pared to majorcentres like Vancouver and Calgary. Another factor which affects DUSTITIESS TS procuct knowledge. Brian has been in the flooring bus- iness for 15 years and Bill for 13 years so they are very well informed on their products and their trade. West Kootenay Carpets also sells and in- stalls Levelor horizontal and vertical blinds, de- signer tile, ceramic tile and hardwood floors. So give their mobile carpet van a call or drop into their showroom to- day. They’ll be glad to give you free estimates or answer any flooring and window covering questions you may have.
