A SURE THING GAME A Mining Broker of Spokane Ac- cused of Unfair Dealing, TWO PRICES) FOR MINING HEN If Persisted in will Ruin The Ross- Jand Republic Market, ; : The Rossland brokers complain of the Spokane brokers and claim that their present conduct if persisted in will ruin the Rossland market for Republic atocks, It is cleimed that the Spokane brokera have a meeting every morning and stocks that are leit with them for sale and that that price is from 10 to 15 centa higher than they will offer for the eame stocks. A few days ago a Rossland bro- ker asked the price of n Spokane broker on Jim Blaine and it was quoted him at 76 cents. Theanswer was: ‘I wish to sell, what will’ you..pay? and word came-back: “Sixty-two cents.” All proteat failed. There was a difference of 14 cents between the selling and buying price, It can readily be seen that there will abeolutely be no market for Republic stocks in Rossland while thia state of affairs exists.
