Minor Hockey Week, which runs from Jan, 18 to 25 all across Canada. Locally, Minor Hockey Week is to be one day longer, coneluding Jan. ~ We can make It ‘Fun for Them’ by getting out and supporting our’ local boys dur- ing this week. There are a number of fund-raising activi- ties thal ean be enjoyed by every member of the commu- nity, as well as the exelting and amusing hockey games being played by boys ranging from ages 6 to 18, . ‘There is.a raffle being held for Minor Hockey Week with two vacation prizes and a TV set going to the winners. Tickets are $1 and can be urchased at the arena. ‘A bake sate will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, in the arena shall where you will be able to buy a bowl of borscht, With inflationary prices these days, it would be well worth your while to take a chance on a grocery hamper rafile.
