Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the chapel of the Castlegar Funeral Home for Omer John Wilson, 81, of Kinnaird, who died Sunday at the Trail Regional . Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born in Danville, Quebec, Jan. 18, 1893. He served his country during the First World War from 1914 to 1918. He married in Quebec in’1919 and came to Trail later that same year taking up ‘employment with Cominco. “Following his retirement in 1954, alter 35 years of service with Cominco, he moved to Kinnaird where he resided until ill health forced him to become a patient at the extended care unit of the Trail Regional Hospital.
