CASTLEGAR CAMPUS 365-1208 Oglow finally gets his answer SUN STAFF Paul Oglow finally received an answer to a question he asked eight years ago. Despite the fact it was listed in annual budgets and reports, Oglow wanted someone at city hall to verbally tell him how much the city still owed on land that had been purchased and developed by the city that was to be resold as industrial park lots to potential business owners. “The only answer I would ever get was, ‘It’s not going to cost the taxpayers of Castlegar one red cent’,” said Ogiow. He posed the question once again to city council, during a meeting last week. This time, Oglow got the answer he want- ed—tie was told the debt on the industrial park sits at $1.7 mil- lion, with a repayment schedule to conclude by the year 2009. “The previous administration was right,” said Oglow, with a smile. “It’s not going to cost one ~ ged cent. Instead, it’s going to cost us one hundred million, seven hundred red cents.” AGES BEAUTY SALON : Leslie if ES A copy of the above bylaws and relevant background documents are available for Inspection between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from February 16, to March 1, 1994 inclusive, at City Hall, 460-Columbia Avenue, Castlegar.
