Organist Pat Cross played Joyful Joyful for the procession into the church and a medley of hymns for the signing of the register. The bride was given in tharriage by her father. She wore a floor-length Edward- ian gown with a taffeta underlay. The gown had flowered lace applique with pearls. ‘The sleeves were long and puffed at the shoulders. The headdress was heart-shaped with a waist-length veil and pearl drops. She wore dia- mond earrings, a gift from her parents. The bride carried a bou- WEDDING . . . The mother of the bride wore a cocktail-length tur- quoise silk dress while the mother of the groom wore a cocktail-length dress of ivory silk brocade. A friend of the bride's family, Dorothy Martini of Castlegar, was mistress of ceremonies. The toast to the bride was given by the groom's brother, Scott Cof- fin. Out- of-town guests attending the wedding were from Edmon- ton, Vancouver, Rossland, Trail and Fruitvale. ‘The newlyweds took their honeymoon trip to Kootenay Lake and are now residing in Sidney.
