Samples From the Gold Nugget— Assays From Little Jo— Personals. William Claffy has brought in some good luoking samples from. the Gold Nugget near Fort Sheppard. A 16- inch vein of high grade ore assaying from $9 to $60 has been exposed. The owners of the Gold Nugget aside from Mr. Claffy are Dr. Hoyesand Robert Strong, of Trail and Captain R. R. Brown. of Waneta. They propose to run a tunnel which will tap the ledge at adepth of 100 fect. LITTLE JO ASSAYS, The assays from samples from the face of the tunnel across the 30-inch vein in the Little Jo gave an average of $53.74. Picked samples showed 3167.48. Besides this vein they have two other distinct veins that assay $8 and $12 in gold respectively at the surface. This property is locatei at the edge of the porphyritic belt and about one- third of a mile north from the Crown Point mine. The foot wall is por- phyritic. The hanging wall is not yet determined.
