“Nordic club plans ski race By SANDY HARTMAN ‘The Nordic Ski Touring Club will be holding its third annual Troll Loppet on Feb. 21, starting and finishing at for everyone, young and old, expert and beginner. Racers will be timed over a 24 km course, but for most skiers the purpose is simply to cover a certain distance, from 8km for Tiny Trolls to 41 km for Men's Gold. This year skiers can also raise funds for Amnesty In- ternational by using the Lop- pet asa ski-a-thon. All skiers, whether they. complete their goal or not, will receive a Loppet Badge.
