She takes a lot of “ribbing from the boys, about her height, but if they get too nasty — she just threatens to. sew their lips shut! ‘Well Equip: Marine Service Shop You'll find that Henne's service shop is one of the best, and best equipped around. They have all the latest equipment, tools and know-how, to repair most any problem, big or small. Dan Holdsworth, pictured here has nearly completed his, three year apprentice- ship, and he started with Henne's May 1, 1979. The team of Dan, Ron and Bill have been awarded, and ap- pointed as the West Koot- enay Factory Authorized “Mercury Outboard Service Centre, As well as OMC and Evinrude Service Fran- chises. : One amazing feature of - their service shop is the 1,200 gallon test tank in which they test motors and engines. The tank will accomodate engines up to 250 Horse power run- ning wide open. This tank is just as reliable, if not more so than testing an engine on a larger body of water because the engine is under more stress in the tank so if any- thing is about to go wrong, it will be noticed more quickly in the test tank, Part of the Inventory Henne's .Marina doesn't have a huge million dol Nelson inventory of boats, but they are well stocked with dif-' * ferent lines and sizes to suit most people. These include, Springbok, Century, Sun Runner, Aquastar and Van- ard. ‘ They plan their sales each year so thoy don’t have to carry a lot of ‘stock through | the slower winter months so . they can keep their prices down by not having to charge customers for-their interest. In 1879 Henne’s became the largest Sun Runner dealer in Canada. They also carry Merc Cruiser and OMC stern drives, Evinrude motors, water skis and other boating equipment, Lawnboy lawn- mowers, and Stihl chainsaws. These are many of the rea- sons why they say “You ain't seen a marina 'till:-you see ours.” selection Besides boats, Henne's also carry Merc Cruiser and OMC stern drives, Evinrude : motors, water skis and other boating equipment. i XD srcne wee Castlegar is strategically located on the Southern Trans-Canada Highway approximately halfway between Van- couver and Calgary — 612 km either way.
