The floral arrangements were of gladioli, Iris, white shasta daisies and yellow mums and the head table was covered with a yellow cloth with an ecru lace ov- erlay centered with a bowl of mixed flowers. On either side of the centre plece was a yellow taper and it rest- ed on a blue mirror. Each individual table carried out the color theme with a small vase of iris and yellow mums set on a gold dolly. These decorations were the work of Mrs. H, Schel- lenberg, whose husband helped set up the tables. Presiding at the urns during the afternoon were Mrs. N. O: Mrs, A, Saunders, In kitchen were Mrs. J. Raine Mrs. W. Harro- s ig . Stier assisted by Mrs, Wil- liam Sommerfield, Mrs. L. Buffett, Mrs. J. Heslop and Mrs. D. Stewart. Taking teas out to the business people were Miss Sybil Harrower assisted by Miss Elleen Craig, Miss Brenda Johnson and Miss Gwen Fuller, Mrs. R. Donnan was in charge of tea ticket sales, Mrs. N. Zuk and Mrs. Saunders looked after the bake table, Mrs. D. Craig, Worthy Matron and Mrs. F. Fuller, associate matron, welcomed the guests. The door prize was won by Mrs. William Houston. A display of cancer dressings made by the can- cer committee was on play during the afternoon tea. These are available to any cancer patient in the district.
