Tn the first game the Rockettes whalloped a smaller, Rossland team 9-0. Janet Suter, Liz Baron, and Lori Price cach scored two goals in the lop- sided victory. The defense played good positional hockey, with Janice Conroy earning the shut-out. The second game saw Kinnaird Juntor Secondary School defeated Rossland 3-1 to win third place. The champlonship game matched Beaver Valley and the Rockettes, with the Rockettes winning 3-1 and hence becom- ing the new champions. hey had a fine season allowing only two tles, no losses, and complling nine wins for the season.
