The Sixth Annual Castlegar Slo-Pitch Tourney is first on the agenda, scheduled for dia- monds across the city June 5- The cost for the mixed-team tourney — there must be six male and four female players — is $175 and each team is guaranteed a minimum three games. The winning team receives a trophy, while prizes will be handed out throughout the tourney. The local association will al- so run a dance. Deadline for entry is May 29. The Year End Money Tour- ney is set for Aug. 21-23 with cash prizes based on the num- ber of money collected in en- tries.
