B.C. couple adopts orphan from Romania LANGLEY, B.C. (CP) — David Paterson is planning to welcome his newly adopted Romanian daughter with a big’hug and some ice cream. Paterson’s wife is expected home from Bucharest this month with four- year-old Carmen. The girl is one of 60 Romanian or- phans due to arrive in Canada within two weeks, thanks to a new Romanian government policy.
