About 95 members and guests sat down to a delicious turkey dinner prepared by the Ladies’ Auxiliary. The tables were tastefully decorated in the Christmas theme President Jessie Donnan welcomed everyone and wished them a Merry Christmas; then Wally Walper sang the blessing After the dinner, tables were cleared and Donnan catted-on-Castlegar Ald- Patti Richards to install the officers for 1990. With the appropriate words, the following were installed: president, Sarah Jacobson; vice-president, Fran ces Hunter; secretary, Marita Ford; treasurer, Jean Fitzpatrick; directors Alice Waterman and Helen Peddle Absent was Alice LeCouffe Jacobson then presented Donnan with the past presidents’ pin and as an added tribute to her many years of faithful strvice to the senior citizens she was also presented with a life mem bership pin. Entertainment convenor La Dell Lipset had an interesting evening program prepared.
