_ Many Beceatations Made at Annual SHSS Awards Day Program

‘The academic’ year at Stan-
ley Humphries Secondary School
was formally brought to a close

n Friday afternoon when astu-
dents ‘and staff gathered in the
gymnasium for the annual
awards day ceremonies.

For the first time honor
roll certificates. were presented
to students who’ had gained
places on the roll for their suc-
cesses in both Christmas and
Easter examinations.

A second novation this year
was the presentation of gradua-
tion. certificates to recommend-
ed Grade 12 students. In the past
these certificates have only been
awarded after students have tak-
