The Castlegar & District Community Services Society has an immediate
fequirement for a Program Co-ordinator for a new Police Based Victim
assistance program

The position:

The Program Co-ordiantor will be responsible for administering and co-
ordinating a police based victim assistance program, and will recruit,
train and supervise volunteers to assist in providing services other than
counselling to victims of crime in the Castlegar RCMP Detachment area

Qualifications
The successful applicant should have experience in managing direct
service delivery programs in the social services area. Excellent
communication, motivation and administration skills are required
preferably combined with a degree in the social services or a
related field

The successful applicant will be employed on an annual basis for 20 hours
per week at a rate of $14.00 per hour plus employee benefits, and will
preferably commence employment.on July 5, 1993
