Despite some hard pushes by Rossland in the first half, Castlegar controlled most of the game. Ryan provided the main spark in the Dusters‘ double- header sweep of the Chewe- lah Lumberjacks to receive the award. As well he clubbed a grand slam home run in the opener which helped propel Grand Forks to a 9-0 Lumberjack whitewash- ing.
