Milner said that although there have been a number of reductions in service, includ- ing the decommissioning of re- mote communication outlets and weather stations, “at Castlegar, Transport Canada COMN Bulletin has proven they can maintain the highest level of service, cut costs, and improve efficiency.” Milner said the association has a number of other cost- cutting ideas that don’t in- clude cutting services. “We have recommended ad- ditional measures which could save the government $150 million without cutting ser- vices,” he said.
