The Ministry of Environment and Parks is considering auc
tioning two (2) new opportunities for guiding territories in
the Kootenay Region (Region 4). The areas are

1) The complete watershed of the Duncan Valley trom the
Duncan Dam north (M.U.'s 4-27, 4-28).

2) The watersheds of the west side of the Columbia River
from the U.S. border north to between Johnston and
Worthington Creeks, the watersheds of the east side of
the Columbia River from its contluence with the Kootenay
River north to between Octapus and Taite Creeks, and the
watersheds of the west side of the Slocan Valley from the
confluence, of the Slocan River and Kootenay River north
to between Mulvey and Bannock Burn Creeks.
