-,- I . r Monday was Labor Day and quite a number of our citbens trekked south of the border to Northport's popular annual beef bar- becue. 1be day started off with a big parade in which Rossland is represented by Poats from the Eagles and the Legion. 1bis parade starts out at the school in the far end of town and winds up at the entry to the bridge over the Columbia, quite a step when you have to concentrate on keeping in one of the brochures the committee has prepared, you can truly say, "No one has been left out!" Another popular annual event that is slated for Saturday is the Pucksters golf tournament, masterminded by Glen Harper. Robby has been working out with the hopefuls all summer and his comment as the team takes up its dryland training was, "Well, it will be the youngest Warrior club in a long time!"
