Born in. Warwickshire, England, on March 80, 1889, Mr. Barnett came to Canada around 1920 and homesteaded near’ Tisdale, Saak.,,for about 10 years before moving to Summerland. There he owned a fruit ranch until poor.health forced him to quit in the early 1950's. He spent a short time at Silverton before coming to ‘Willowhaven in 1968 and then to Mount St, Francis in 1973. He was prédeceased by four sisters, three brothers, three. grandsons and a grand- daughter. He is survived by his wife, Flora of Summerland; two sons, Herbert of Vancouver and Alfred of Kamtoops; one grand- son, Larry of Vancouver and granddaughter, Heather of Nel- n. Lt.
