trict No. 9 (Castlegar*® were held the .
week of October 25th to Oct. 30th in
Castlegar, Robson, Kinnaird, Thrums,
Renata, Deer Park.

Trustees elected were Mr. 8. Humph-
-ries re-elected for Robson, Mr. R. Hun-
ter re-elected for Castlegar, Mr. G.
Craft for the Brilliant Power plant.
The representatives elected are, Mr. A.
Koch for Renata, Mr. G. Hamblin for
Deer Park, Mr. Quidding for Blueberry
Creek, Mr. Fred Markin for Shoreacres-
Glade.

to proceed with the project in the
early spring.

will be considered along with the High
School project.

The Public health nurse duties have

been going ahead very favorably, in
poth the school and the district clini

a-great assistance to all in the dist-
ricte The health nurse office will be
located in the office-garage building
on the Castlegar school grounds.
' The changes made in several schoolg
seems to be working very satisfaétorily
The high school being in one unit is a.
decided improvement, but accomodation .
is still taxed to capacity.

The Kinnaird, Gibson Creek and Pasg
Creek schools are now occupied and it
4s hoped the Tarrys school will be rea-
dy very soon.

The district now has a movie proj-
ector which will be utilized gor visual
education and should prove to be a val
uable unit for the district, educatio-
nal films will be obtained from Vanco-
