The Regional District is seeking an innovative and experienced

individual to assume the position of Solid Waste Management
Coordinator.

FOR APPOINTMENTS

This position is primarily responsible for the development of a
recycling program in the Greater Trail Area. The incumbent will
also be exp to administer the ing Refuse Disposal
Function and to assist with the preparation of a Solid Waste
Management Plan as required by the Provincial Government.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
y school grad: I d by training in

engiieerng technology and/or public administration
two years experience in project management or contract
supervision

— thorough knowledge of recycling and other solid waste
management processes

— good oral and written communication skills

SALARY:
This is a full time, one year term position with a salary of ap-
proximately $2,600 per month.
