Admissions Committee The College Admissions Committee, appointed by the Principal, will deal with all matters relating to the admission of students to the College in accordance with the admission policy set out by the College Council. In the majority of cases admissions will be of a routine nature and will not require detailed consideration by the com- mittee as a whole. In certain special cases, however, thorough investigation and study by the Committee will be required and it may also be necessary to consult with principals and counsellors from the secondary school in which the applicant received his high school education. REGISTRATION Every student is required to state the names of all educational institutions of secondary or higher level attended, and to submit evidence of the standing obtained at each. Registration for New Students As a preliminary step, students applying for registration for the first time should obtain from the office of the Dean or from their school principals, a Student Application Form. The completed form, together with necessary certificates and two recent passport-type photographs of the applicant, should be submitted by August 12 in the case of students proposing to attend the Fall Term, by December 2 for the Spring Term, and by May 29 for Summer Session. Following receipt of this form, the applicant will, in due course, be advised with respect to his admission and standing, and, if eligible, given instruction on procedure for completing registration. Please note that applications cannot be considered un- less they are accompanied by supporting documents showing the applicant’s aca- demic record. Reregistration Students already in attendance at the College must reregister for the Spring Term by December 2, on forms available at the Dean’s office and for Summer Session courses by June 16. Students continuing their studies in the College for their second year will reregister by August 11 on forms available at the Dean’s office. Change of Programme Students who wish to transfer to another division within the College should notify the Dean as early as possible before August 12 for the Fall Term or before December 2 for the Spring Term. Change in Registration Students desiring to make a change in the programme of courses for which they have registered must apply to the Dean’s office. Except in special circumstances, course changes will not be permitted after September 19 in the Fall Term and January 9 in the Spring Term. All other pertinent changes, including those in address and telephone number must be reported promptly to the Dean’s office. 19
