Answer: The United Way. And’ this year’s United Way campaign kicks off Saturday at Kinsmen Park with a host of activities for residents of all ages. The free pancake breakfast gets the day off toa great start. Sponsored by Castlegar Savings Credit Union, the breakfast will be served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot next to the library. At 8:80 a.m. the United Way displays open in the parking lot. They will be followed by the first of two puppet shows at the library at 9:30, along with a bake sale near the library and a white elephant sale in the parking lot. i As well, there will be a.fish pond and children's dress-up in front of the library and boy scout activities in the park.
