The Testaments, which cost $2 to produce, must. be sold for 25.cents because of extreme poverty. Howard Eaton is president of the local branch, with Wm. T. Easton succeeded by: Mrs. Lillian Gossen as secretary- treasurer. It was announced that last year's contribution amounted to $785. It is hoped from the Community Chest and_ the churches an even larger amount will be received this year to help the society in B.C. reach an all-time high. of $175,000, C00.
