It's a fun time for youngsters, and the R.C.M.P. have some safety tips to keep your little goblins safe and sound while they're out gathering candy and other goodies. 1. Instruct rules. Children should use crosswalks and sidewalks, and walk on the side of the riad facing tratfic. front of cars. 2. Children should wear highly visible clothing. 3. Costumes and masks should never restrict eyesight. 4. It's a good idea to carry a flashlight; it not only increases visibility, but lets kids see where they're going. 5. Reflective arm and leg bands are a good idea. The R.C.M.P. will be providing schools with reflective stickers to give to their students. These should be worn. 6. Parents should always inspect “goody bags” and all Halloween treats anything out of the ordinary when the bags are brought home. 7.
