During W.W. 2, Tom served aboard the H.M.C.S. Restigouche in the North Atlantic. After returning to Trail he continued his employment at Cominco, when he retired in 1979 after 35 years service. Tom enjoyed golf and fishing. He Is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his children, Deborah (John) Gray of Fort St. John, and their children, Christopher, Bradley, and Ryan; Keith (Lisa) McGauley of White Rock and their children, Connor & Kimberley. Also survived by his 3 brothers, Patrick, Jed and twin brother Bill as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers. A service of remembrance was conducted at The Royal Canadian Legion in Castlegar on Monday, April 24, 1995 at 11:00 am with Canon Dorothy Barker officiating. Cremation has taken place.
