Te six students, aged” 16-18, will be taking about 15 hours of classes a week which will cost the district about $14,600 on a fee-for-service basis. Board chairman Doreen Smecher said in an interview she was “excited” about the extension of the Open Roads program, which is designed to help students who either have “trouble with the frame- work of a regular classroom” or who have dropped out. She said it was the first time such a co-operative pro- gram between the sebool dis triet and the college has been developed. The board motion comes slightly after the fact because the students are already taking the adult education classes at the college.
