If a fifth person is present, add a seafood dish (such as prawns in black bean sauce), The thing to remember when cooking Chinese food is to do all your preparation (i.e. chopping, mixing, etc.) before you start cooking. In wok or frypan heat 2 T. oil, Add garlic and ginger, stirfry 5 seconds, Add celery, onion, carrots and stirfry for one minute. Then add green pepper, cabbage, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chest- nuts, stirfry one minute more. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth, sugar, pepper, cover and allow to simmer one minute. Mix 1 tsp. cornstarch with 1 tsp. water. * Mix into sauce, stir until thickened. Immediately place 2 T. soy sauce in centre of noodles and serve, ‘/: t. pepper - minute more. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Zarikoff of South Slocan and the . groom is the son of Mrs. Jim McBride of Red Deer, Alta. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was charming in silk chiffon over bridal: taffeta, edged with Venice lace. The bodice featured a low neckline and bishop sleeves, while the five-tier skirt, edged with matching lace, fell gracefully entrain. _A veil of silk illusion edged with lace misted from her Juliet cap of seed pearls and lace and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and blue daisies, Her necklace of five pearls ona silver chain, was a gift from her groom.
