(.50 F.T.E.) Term teacher to
implement The Young Mother's
Project at the kootenay-Columbia
Child Care Centre in Castlegar.

The major goal of this project is to
assist young mothers to
successfully complete their
secondary school education

The initial Term contract will be for
the period mid October ‘92 to mid
February ‘93. Extension of the
contract will depend on the program
evaluation

Desirable qualifications and
personal qualities include:

— possession of a valid teaching
certificate

— Experience in varied subject
areas at the secondary level

— experience with correspondence
Education or Adult Basic Education
delivery models

— strong interrpersonal skills

— possession of a flexible teaching
style

— ability to work in a cooperative
learning environment.
