RENATA NEWS Mrs. Henry Schapansky, old- ‘est Renata pioneer celebrated her 84th birthday. Hale and hearty she enjoyed having lunch- eon with her many friends April 19. She, came to Renata in 1910 and although she went back to Manitoba for a year in 1922, Mr. and Mrs. Schapansky returned in 1923 to buy and clear other property’ and started another or- chard, Mr. Schapansky died in 1943, but Mrs. Schapansky has lived here 42 years.
