The bride, who was given in marriage by her son Andrew Nicholas, wore a white satin ballerina-length, slightly draped skirt with a heart-shaped bodice and low back, and a daisy lace, high-neck with long sleeves over top. She complemented the outfit with white satin spike heeled shoes, daisy lace nylons and a borrowed, beaded, white satin evening bag. She also wore a white brimmed satin hat with white silk flowers and pearls tipped slightly to the side and carried a bouquet of cascading white roses, stephanotis, freshia, seed pearls and greenery. Also, she wore pearl-drop earrings, 4 gift from the groom. The groom wore a white dinner jacket with a winged tip collar and white shirt, black pants and black shoes. Both his cumberbund and bow tie were white and he wore a white rose boutonniere. Both the best man, Andy Muller of Blueberry Creek, and the bride’s son Andrew were dressed similar to the groom but with dark aqua cumberbunds and bowties, and freshia boutonnieres. The matron on honor, Karen Mayen Burg of Fox Creek, Alta., a long time friend of the bride, wore a light aqua, sleeveless dress with a slightly flared bottom. She also wore a long sleeved, three-quarter length jacket, cream colored shoes and carried a cream colored purse. Her earrings were rhinestone and she wore a necklace that was a gift from the bride. Her bouquet was a cascade of pink roses, stephanotis, freshia and greenery with an aqua marine ribbon. The bride's mother wore a long sleeved, aqua rayon brocade short dress with a high neck and draped front with a scarf held by a white gardenia corsage. ‘The groom's mother wore a three-quarter length short sleeved dress, colored mauve, silver and black with white gardenia. The ushers were William Bonham of WEDDING COUPLE . . . Katherine and Daniel Janicki were recently married in Castlegar, decorated with white and blue roses, and greenery with the names Kathy and Dan in white satin ribbon on it. The wedding cake, made by the matron on honor, was two tiered and separated with glass pillars. The heart-shaped top featured white bells, white silk flowers and an aqua net. The base had aqua ribbon around it with white roses in the center. The cake table was draped with a white crocheted table cloth, made by the bride's grandmother, with brass candle holders and silk flowers placed near the cake. The master of ceremonies was the bride's brother, Robert Bonham of Winnipeg, and Ben Fietz of Castlegar, the bride's stepfather, toasted the bride and groom. Ron Leitch of Winnipeg, the bride's sétond cousin, said grace. Telegrams were received from cousins and aunts from Winnipeg. Out-of-town guests came from Fox Creek, Alta., Fort S: h Alta., Ci a , Fruit- vale, Victoria, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. The couple honeyméoned in the Grand Cayman Islands and are now residing in Fox Creek where the groom is employed with Chevron Canada. and Harry Bonham of Castlegar, the bride's brothers. The reception was held at the Castlegar Community Complex and featured a smorgasbord catered by Anna Boel, Job openings including a midnight snack. Guests at the reception were met by a short receiving line and the guest book was attended by the groom's sister, Helen Secco of Fruitvale, and the bride's son Andrew. The bride and groom danced the first dance to Powr of Love. The reception hall was decorated with white and blue streamers and bells. The tables were decorated blue-tinted white daisies, babies breath, greenery in vases and white and blue candles. Each plate setting included a dark blue napkin, matches and candies in a light blue net. The head table was flanked by candlelabra of white candles and aqua ribbon.
