Horswill Passes Funeral services were held on-Monday from St, David's:An- giican Church for Algernon Tho- mas Horswill, 77, 0 retired pio- neer who settled in the West Kootenay nearly 60 years ago. He died suddenly at his home last week. Mr. Horswill restded in Cas- tlegar since 1945 coming from the Slocan Valley where he had moved three years earlier from Nelson. He owned Horswill's Store here (now Bob's Pay'n Ta- kit) and was municipal clerk from 1949 to 1958. Born in Ontario, Mr. will moved to Nelson in 1907.
