Dear Ann Landers: A cou-
ple of years ago, a very nice
couple, “Todd” and “Kim,”
moved in next door. My hus-
band and I have become very
friendly with them,

Whenever Todd and Kim
throw a party, everyone drinks
a lot - including us. Many fam-
ily members drink and drive
Some of them bring their kids

For two years, I've been want-
ing to say something to Kim
without sounding angry or insult-
ing, but the time never seemed
right. Last week, Kim's younger
sister and her husband got into
their car with their three small
children and drove home. drunk. I
offered to drive them and also
suggested they stay overnight at
our house, but everyone told me
to “relax,” so I just went home. I
didn't sleep a wink.

I've decided that the next
time I see them get into a car
while drunk, I will call the
police with a description of the
car and the licence number. |
can't live with myself knowing
I am allowing those people to
put their children in danger.
