Alll these special projects are in addition to regular worship, fun and discussion, ‘This Sunday Night ‘The Roman Catholic cholr and congregation will join with the United Church and Angll- can congregations, and any other interested persons, In a special service for unity, this Sunday evening at 7.20 p.m. in St. David's Church, Father Bud Godderis will give the sermon, with members of all three congregations taking part in the service. Following the worship service, caffe will be served in the basement of the church, ‘Third World Education Plans are being finalized for a series of educational events on the Third World and the food crisis, These events will be held on Wednesday nights for five weeks, begin- ning Feb. 19. ‘The purpose of the seriesis to hélp people understand just what the food crisis is all about, what are some of the basic problems and possible solutions and what the average Canadian can do in regard to the situation, Several churches are co-operating in this series. The first meeting will be held at St, David's, Planning a Wedding? The Regional Ecumenical Parish has just printed an informational brochure for cou- ples intending to be married by * ‘one of the ministers of the parish. This brochure is avail- able from the church office. It is important for couples to realize\that a minimum notice of one month is expected and that plans should not be made until the couple has first met with the ministers to discuss their: reaponsibilityand that of the chureh in preparing for the wedding.
