The’ main reason is, of course, that at this wedding I was known simply as ‘the mother of the groom’. ‘You have no‘idea what a great advantage this can be. One simply sits back, smiles. sweetly and lets the mother‘of the bride One of the other reasons I am feeling rather smug about this wedding is the fact that only three short years ago the tables were turned, and I was the mother of the bride.
