CASTLEGAR NEWS, Thursday, Nov. 29, 1962 “Golden Wedding Anniversary The golden wedding day of Mr. and Mrs, K, M, Spence saw mem~ bers of their macily from various points of the province and a host of friends and neighbors converge at their Kinnaird home on Sunday. For the bride and groom of 50 years ago, the day commenced with morning services at the Kin- naird United Church. The services included a Christening ceremony at which Mr. Spence presented his great-grandson to the minister. Rev. H. Pratt officlated for the baptism of Brian David Lockhart, infant:son of Mr, ‘and Mrs. Tom Lockhart of Kinnaird. ‘The Spence home contained a profusion of congratulatory . bou- quets, gifts'and over 100 greeting cards.
