Funeral services com-
menced Wednesday evening
and conclude today at 1 p.m.
from the chapel of the Castle-
gar Funeral Home for Pete W.
Perepolkin, 69, of Thrums.

+ Mr. Perepolkin was born
Jan. 28, 1913 in Thrums. He
married and mado his home
there until moving to Castlegar
in 1945.

-He moved to Nelson in
1958 and back to Thrums in
1960; He was a sawyer and was

employed by Waldie Sawmill .

and for the last few years was a
construction carpenter working
on many large construction
sites in the Kootenays.

He was actively involved
with the Kootenay Doukhohor
Historical Society of which he
was an honorary life member.

He is survived by his wife
Nellie; one daughter, Mrs. Pete
(Edna) Pictin of Duncan, two
sons, William of Castlegar and
