Drake, who has a wide range of experience in the entertainment business, will be . leading a. workshop of writing for media. He started in the field asa child actor with CBC radio in Vancouver. After ‘moving to California, he worked in the music business as performer, (songwriter and manager before ‘turning to film writing in 1966. Since then, Drake has _ written for television and film, in 1971 winning: the. Writers Guild Award for the best dramatic teleplay.
