Nearly 100 people showed up
for the opening of the new show
at the West Kootenay Exhibition
Centre (NEC) on November 14.

The Assembly of BC Arts
Councils invites all artists and
artisans residing in the province of
British Columbia to submit works
to its tenth annual provincial
juried art exhibition, Images &
Objects X. Images & Objects is
the visual arts component of the
BC Festival of the Arts, the largest
festival of its kind in Canada,
involving over 100,000 individu-
als throughout the province. 240

the last two years. All pieces sub-
mitted will be exhibited. Artists
can enter in any variety of media.
It is from this exhibition that
jurors will choose 15 artists to
take their work on to the provin-
cial show to be held in Vernon,
May 27-31, 1992.

officials, artists, and artisans.
