Castlegar’s Felix Belczyk and Bonnie Lothrop

Bonnie Lothrop, daughter
of Dorothy and Nelson
Lothrop of Lennoxville, Que.,
and Felix Belezyk, son of Felix
and Renate Belczyk of Castle-
gar were united in marriage
on Aug. 1 in Lennoxville’s
United Church.

The bride looked radiant in
a floor-length white satin
dress and the groom hand-
some in a black tuxedo. The
maid of honor was Donna
Gallagher and the brides-
maids were Katrine Santa
Lucia, Stephanie Stevens and
Carol Toben — all friends of
the bride.

Bestman was Rob Boyd,
friend and team-mate’of the

Canadian National Ski Team.
The ushers were Brian
Stemmle, another ski team
member, Gordon Leask, a
good friend from Cranbrook
and Robert Lothrop, brother
of the bride.

The reception and dance
were held in a huge, beauti-
fully decorated tent on the
lawn of the bride’s parents
home. The master of cere-
monies was Terry Spence
from Whistler. Out of town
guests came from all over
Canada and Europe.

After a honeymoon in
Spain, Portugal and Morocco,
the young couple has settled
in Vancouver.
