Resident

Local RCMP reported a
fatal motor vehicle accident
which occurred at 1 am.
Saturday, approximately seven
miles south of Castlegar on
Hwy. No. 3.

The driver and only oc-
cupant of the 1971 Capri which
was totalled has been identified
as Hans Heindrich Trautmann
of Vancouver. He was pro-
nounced dead on arrival at the
Castlegar and District Hospital.

Police said the vehicle was

-south-bound when it left the

road on the right-hand side and
overturnéd.

28, of Castlegar who died
