Selkirk College Leeda Plotnikoff of Pass Creek became the bride of Greg Harasemow of Shoreacres in a Oct, 22 ceremony at the bride’s home. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Plotnikoff of Pass Creek and the groom, son of Mr.,and Mrs. John Harasemow of Winlaw, were wed in a traditional Douk- hobor ceremony. The bride wore a traditional Russian suit of em- broidered gorgette material. The bodice had a v-shaped neckline with scalloped sleeves and neckline. The suit had pearl buttons along the back and sleeves. She wore a traditional Doukhobor shawl embroidered with white roses and carried a bouquet of red roses and baby’s breath. The bride's attendants were Kathy Osachoff of Forks, bridesmaid. The attendants wore burgundy dresses of gorgette material with a ruffled neckline. They also wore white shawls with embroidered burgundy roses. Their bouquets consisted of red roses, pink carnations and baby's breath. The groom's attendants were Jim Vanjoff of Grand Forks, best man, and Len Harasemow of Winlaw, usher. The reception was held at Playmor Hall which was decorated in burgundy and white. The cake was decor. ated with white icing and burgundy roses. Paul Verigin of Grand Forks was master of cere- monies and the first waltz was “You and I” by Eddie Rabbitt.
